my good friend from college, joe arcadi, is in tokyo. he stopped here for a few days on his way back from thailand and cambodia. he’s traveling with his friend deb, who visited tokyo on a business trip a while back.

it’s been really great to see him, and i’ve had a good time showing them around. we ate some good sushi, tonkatsu, and beef bowls. we partied at bars and clubs in shibuya, shinjuku, and just on the street! we peeped oddly dressed girls in harajuku and hot ones in yoyogi park. i took them to the top of the metropolitan building and sent them to see the big buddha. tonight a bunch of us are heading to an izakaya and then to roppongi...

it’s fun when good friends visit... even though we have not seen each other in such a long time... it feels like we we’re back in college.
