Chiz and I headed to Chinatown to join the Chinese New Year celebrations. We were surprised that the event was so big! There were many different dragons dancing in the streets, lots of fireworks, and even stalls set up selling stuff! It was really fun, but also really hot!
Very interesting to see see it all take place in the summer….because I always associate the Chinese New Year’s celebrations we had at Danny’s and Jimmy’s with winter and very cold weather.
I understand… it’s also hard for us to see the calendar saying January, but the weather is hot! Luckily Melbourne keeps us guessing with the weather!
